Pointe-Noire, Congo-Brazzaville 2022

My third time here, now celebrating Mami's birthday. In a warm bath of lemongrass tea from my aunts garden, the smell of burned eucalyptus trees, pineapple, mangos that just fell of the tree, papaya, corossol, orange, peanuts, plantain, avocado, banana, pamplemousse, manioc, sugar cane, saka saka, road trips, a lot of sleep, not having my luggage for a week during the first week of my cycle and making outfits out of pyjamas, sunbirds and family.
